Coir Block

Coir block or coconut coir block, is a compressed block made from the fibrous remains of coconut husks, left after extracting the long coir fibers. These blocks are widely used in horticulture as a soil amendment and growing medium.

The production involves washing and drying the coir fibers before compressing them into manageable blocks. When you add water, these blocks expand significantly, becoming a lightweight and highly absorbent medium suitable for plant growth. The processing into compact blocks makes them easy to handle, transport, and store in various gardening applications.
